  Wow, I didn't realize you could hear it that early! My doctor's office must be archaic, because the OB said his doppler wouldn't be able to detect a heartbeat until I was closer to 10 weeks.

  Yey! It's such a relief isn't it? I went to the doc on Monday and they said they detected one in the ultrasound, but they didn't have the equipment to let me hear it.

  omg you too? I definitely have to try again today now that I'm past 10 weeks. so far I've only been able to find the umbilical chord.

  Last time my doctor found the HB right at 9 weeks with a doppler in the office after I told her that I had heard it on my home doppler.  She was like pshhh mmhmm sure.  She spit she was so surprised to find it!  She said that my uterus must have just been perfectly positioned.
