Any time I correct E, if she is doing something she shouldn't, DH also has to correct her. It friggin' annoys me.
I'll say "Oh no, E, we don't do this. Let's do this instead." Then DH will rush in with "No, E. Leave that alone." (or something to reiterate whatever I just said.) I think once is enough and I have it under control.
(Now that I think about it, he does it with the dogs too. Except if I tell them "No" about anything, DH's response is "OUTSIDE!" They didn't need to get put outside just because I had to tell them "No" or "Off" or whatever. Annoying.)

YES!! I do the 1,2,3 warning thing with DD. I will warn her to do something, like "Grace please pick up that toy you just threw on the floor." Then I will wait a second to see if she will do it. Well he instantly chime in "Grace.... Pick up the toy!" Drives me nuts! I will kindly say "DH I've got it, thanks!" Then I will continue.
I have to remind him every.d@mn.time not to "help" me discipline. It's just his natural reaction I guess. It drives me bonkers.
With DD, he does what LCass said. I just know that I'm going to be the bad parent.
i am totally the bad parent. He lets the kids get away with murder! It seems the only time he remembers to discipline is when I am already do it.
I have said "mom said no!" And SO laughs and says "mom said no!"
It's like I have a parrot in the house!
