Hi Soon-to-be Dads/Already Dads,
My husband and I are expecting our little guy at the end of January and one of his Christmas gifts from me is a fully stocked "Daddy Diaper Bag". *I'm very excited about this!* My plan is to stock it will latter stage diapers, wipes, pacifiers, bottles/sippie cups, changing pad, blankets, tissue, hand sanitizer and much more.
If you currently have a "Daddy Diaper Bag", which brand or style do you have that you find to be functional? I know my husband is a big fan of Oakley backpacks but I'm not sure if that would be functional when handling a little one.
Thanks guys!!
Re: Do you have a "Daddy Diaper Bag"?
I love the one I have. Has everything that a father needs, and sometimes my wife uses mine even though she has her pretty Vera Bradley bag all to herself!!

I can assure you, your wife will not allow her diaper bag to be turned into a purse. There is just way too much stuff to take when you are out with the baby. Remember, there are feedings, changings, blankets, burp cloths, pacies, formula and water and milk if she pumps. I tell you this as the husband of a wife who is wilded-eyed about her purse. The diaper bag is for baby, her purse is for her. I am lucky if I can put the car keys and my wallet in the diaper bag when we are out and about.
That diaper bag is bursting when baby goes out with us for extended periods of time.
Forgot about wipes, empty ziploc bags for dirty diapers (not every place is baby friendly, so you have to transport the baby waste with you sometimes. The times I have to change Jake in the car are really fun:-))) and of course at least ten diapers in the bag as well.
My diaper bag is from Eddie Bauer. It's a lot smaller than my wife's bag and her bag is a Coach...so it's not my favorite to carry.
We both have duffel style bags but I think I rather have a backpack, just easier to carry, for when my son gets older. My goal is to upgrade when my kid is bigger, but I'll probably stick with Eddie Bauer if they have one, their bags are crazy good and all have a lifetime warranty.
