Has anyone had their daughters ears pierced? I know some people chose not to, but for us, it's a cultural thing and I am hoping to get it in the next couple of weeks.
Also, my daughter's birth certificate is all sorts of wrong- the time of birth, the attending doctor and her weight. I've called and left messages at Vital Statistics. Was anyone else's certificate wrong? Was it a huge hassle to fix?
Thanks!
Re: Piercing ears and correcting birth certificate
We took Claire when she was 1 year old to Piercing Pagoda at the mall and they did a great job.
No idea about the birth certificate. I still haven't ordered Claire's yet. Opps!

Ok, I'll keep harassing them. It's frustrating because there is a note on the certificate that they "corrected" the information that is wrong. Ugh.
My pedi says they'll do for $100 at 9 months. My friend's pedi at MGH in Boston wont do it after 6 months because she says the babies will pull at them. She also charges $30. It seems so arbitrary! I wanted to get them done this month, in time for her baptism next month. Thanks!
