Penis fascination

Ok.....if that subject doesn't get you, I don't know what will. Just checking to make sure my son is 'normal'.

When he is watching TV or we are reading a bed time story, he always puts his hand in his underpants. I have asked him what he is doing and he tells me 'Putting my pee pee down.' What age to little boys start this? I have heard that little boys form an attachment to their penis at a very young age, I just haven't heard other parents talking about this, so I wanted to check.
