Evenflo Triumph LX

Hi!  I was just wondering if any of you have this carseat, and if you do, are there any tips or tricks you've learned with it?  Or things you don't like about it?

Also, for those of you who have a convertible carseat, do you and your husband EACH have one or do you just switch it to whichever car your LO will be riding in?  Thanks! :)

Re: Evenflo Triumph LX

  • I'm pretty sure this is the seat we have for DD and we love it. I don't have any tips or tricks to inform you of though. I haven't found anything I don't like about it yet. The only thing I guess I don't like is the strap for the LATCH system for when LO is forward facing just kind of hangs on the back of the seat. There's not really anywhere to tuck it away until it's needed. We have 2 seats, 1 for each of our cars. We got them for good deals with the BRU trade in events and 20% off coupons. We also bought a cheap $40 seat for when a family member needs to watch DD. It's just easier.

  • Its a well loved seat for rear-facing and forward facing. Pretty user friendly.

We have seats for each car. I am a tech, so I could probably do with one seat for each kid per car, but I like to feed my obsession.  I have 2 kids and 9 seats. Eeek.

  • Thanks guys!  Looks like we may be buying another one for the hubby's car then!  I can't imagine lugging it between them!  Glad it seems to be a great carseat. :)

  • We have this car seat and love it.

DS is still rear-facing comfortably in it at 18 months.  I love the knob system for tightening the straps.  It is a rather bulky car seat though.  So its a tight fit in the backseat for me, my son and my stepdaughter in our Honda Civic, but we would still but it again.

  • We've been using the Triumph for almost 2 years and still love it. DD1 was RFing in it until last week. If she weren't so tall we probably would have kept her in it until her 3rd birthday, but she outgrew the RFing height limit. We now have DD2 RFing in the Triumph.
