Hi guys,
Does anyone have any advice on keeping track of your cycle right after a miscarriage? I asked my Dr, but didn't really get a straight answer. Sorry if this is asking for tmi, but I'm just wondering how long after the miscarriage bleeding stops do periods tend to start again?
I know every woman is different, and I know that a period may not indicate ovulation right away - I'm just looking for other experiences and averages. My cycle falls into the "normal" category (28-32 days in between periods).
Thanks.
Re: When to start charting?
I'm sorry for your loss.
I started charting right away. My m/c was early and we decided to TTC again right away. So I just counted CD1 as my first day of bleeding from the miscarriage. This is the first cycle, but it looks like I might be ovulating around my normal time.
If you had a D&C, I think you can count that day as CD1, but maybe someone else can clarify that b/c I personally don't have experience with that.
Hope this helps.

My blog My chart
I'm right there with you-- m/c on Sunday, started temping again today-- I figure, even if this cycle is super wonky, it will give me information to refer back to in case this happens to us again
We are also going to start trying right away-- I'm expecting O to be a bit later, but doing my chart and everything will help me keep track of it~
So sorry for your loss.
I started tracking right after my mc. It was very early and was natural. I counted the day I started bleeding as CD1, and started charting then. I do think I O'd around CD 13 the cycle after (which I think is early). We are TTC right away so I am now in the TWW.
I started charting the month after.
