1. We are going to an election party/slumber party tonight. so fun!

2. It's gloomy, and the weather is predicting the "s" word. In case I have not made it abundantly clear before - I hate cold and snow.

3. E is so cute. He has started saying "down" and almost "moo."

4. I had the best coffee date with an old friend yesterday. She rocks.

5. We are on a new mission to watch what we eat.

6. I wonder how long the lines will be today.

7. I love that we changed our work schedules to get more time with E.

8. I can't believe how many signs of the other party I saw on the Interstate yesterday. Oh dear...

10. I am looking forward to another weekend of being home. Last weekend was crazy productive.

1. I have never been first to this party.

2. We just got back from voting. I was worried about fitting it in before transfer but we had plenty of time.

3. We vote at my old elementary school -- although technically it was ripped down and re-built a few years ago -- which is also where our kids will go. It was kind of fun being there and thinking about taking our kids there.

3. Speaking of which, we leave in 35 minutes to go stick an embryo in my uterus. Holy cannoli.

4. I've been feeling crampy and crappy ever since retrieval, with last night being particularly bad, and I woke up at 1 am when my Tylenol ran out, in a lot of pain. Then today I miraculously feel...fine.

5. And since I'm still on a high-protein diet, my darling wife made me a roasted broccoli, cheese and ham omelet for breakfast. It was delicious.

6. I feel for everyone who has ever been on bed rest and I hope I never have to be. I was on my couch or in bed from Thursday through Sunday and I was SO.BORED. I'll be lying around again this afternoon, but at least will have my wife to entertain me.

7. I'm debating whether or not to take beta day off from work. If it's negative, I can't imagine going in to work and sitting next to my pregnant co-worker all day.

8. I feel like I could eat another omelet.

9. My ILs and a few of my friends are going through a lot of Sandy-related crap right now and I feel terrible for them. Nobody is hurt or unwell or had any damage to their primary homes, but the power situation has been bad, the gas situation is bad, and I think they are going a little stir-crazy. I can't believe they have another storm coming this week.

10. I'm so excited for the end of political ads.

1. Evals with the neuropsych for Owl this morning, these evals are the deciding factor for the girls staying with us or going to another family. Please say a prayer for us.

2. I'm trying to potty train Owl...it's hard to PT a selectively mute kid.

3. Trauma sucks.

4. I woke up at 2am to find our bedroom door that leads outside wide open..?

5. Im not using cloth diapers anymore, I feel bad but lately convenience has become a necessity.

6. J KoolAid dyed the ends of A's hair purple yesterday, it's subtle and cute.

7. I am going to be devastated if Romney wins the election.

8. J's dog was at the vet last week, I'm not sure why he was taken there, but she decided to have him put down after she went in to ID him. I feel bad for her, he was her little buddy but it was time.

9. I'm itchy, I need to invest in lotion now that the weather is cooling down.

10. I've been having lots of sex dreams lately, what does that mean?

1) I went to my polling place at 6:15 this morning (they open at 6:30 here) and was still not first in line! I was third. 2) Everyone at my office is talking about who they are voting for and then looking at me like I am supposed to chime in. None of your business. 3) I just spent $75 on a thirty-one order....wth is wrong with me??? 4) The Christmas presents I ordered on-line were shipped out on Thursday and should have been here yesterday. This morning I get an e-mail saying the seller shipped part of it in a seperate package and would be including an invoice in that one for the shipping. Say what? I already paid the shipping. There is no reason it had to be in TWO shipments. I am NOT eating the cost for your problem. 5) Did I mention I am 2/3 of the way done shopping for Christmas, Ky's pictures are taken, and I bought the cards and filled out the envelopes already? 6) I apparently bought pies from a co-worker's child and forgot about them. I am staring at a pecan and chocolate cream pie as I type.... 7) I made a photo book for my NE friend's daughter for Christmas. It is all about our trip to NE. I narrated it like a picture book so L can read it to her! 8) I am thinking about making another for my IN friend's daughter. 9) #7 (and probably #8) came with a free duplicate book that I will be keeping for Ky! 10) If I cannot find a knife to cut the pie from #6 do you think I could get away with pulling my fork out of my lunch box and digging in?

2. Because of 1 I need to figure out what I want in life. It's crazy to be 23, almost married 5 years, and divorced. Ack.
3. I have to book my flight to CA for Thanksgiving.
4. IDK what living together til June wil bring.
5. We put up the holiday set at work this week, not so excited. The holidays were my favorite but this year it'll be a reminder if everything I messed up
6. I'm clearly depressed
7. I can't wait to learn to ski.
8. I need a hug
9. I hope my mom comes to live with me, and help me get an apartment.
10. I need to return Js diamond earrings I bought her for our anniversary.

Yeah, his cuteness often gets me out of jams. A friend asked me yesterday how I feel about roundabouts. I said I hate them. She loves them and joked that she might have to leave our coffee date. I said "but I have pictures of E!!??" She stayed

1. Well I went and voted this morning!

2. Now I just have to hold my breath for 16 more hours... I can't stand it.

3. I'm working from home today, but man am I having a hard time concentrating.

4. I'm going to my first yoga class tonight and I'm really excited.

5. I hope I don't look like an ass... Angel

6. Um, its lunchtime now and I still have this open.

7. Trav is stopping at the farmers market today for fruits and veggies... but we are completely out (of fresh) right now. I guess I could heat up some frozen green beans or something, but that doesn't sound so appealing right now.

8. Does the apple in my chicken apple sausage count?

9. I can't believe its November already. Where has this year gone?

10. I ordered our Christmas cards yesterday, and I'm starting my shopping list today. 7 weeks until Christmas!

Bonus 11. Don't worry, I respect the turkey... no Christmas decorations or music until the 23; and we won't mail the cards until the end of November, but preparation is key!

*hugs* Virtual hugs are all I have but I am here if you ever need to talk. As a recent survivor...divorces suck. I feel you on the holidays. I am having a hard time right now especially since our anniversary is on 11/25/12, right between my two favorite family holidays.

1. I can't wait for this election to be decided. I just hope it's clear and does not drag on for days/weeks.

2. You people and your Christmas cards/gift prep make me feel like a bad mommy. I can't find the time to make these things happen.

3. Case in point, I still need to send thank you cards from our housewarming party.

4. E has gymnastics tonight from 5-6. I can't decide if it is better or worse to miss that hour of election coverage.

5. E's PE teacher is trading a big bag of candy for a pedometer and her 1st grade teacher is trading a smaller bag for a book. Thank you for getting the extra candy out of our house. They are sending it to troops overseas which makes me feel good.

6. My work friend I often IM with has been at a meeting since Friday, I miss having someone to chat with.

7. I have seen some signs against the marriage equality initiative in our state around our town. I have resisted the urge to tear them down (mostly because it has been when I've had E with me and don't feel that would set a good example).

8. I must find focus to work today.

9. I hope that everyone who wants to vote is able. The long lines stories are scary and discouraging.

1. Watching TV right now is like a train wreck with all the election stuff!

2. I am so glad I voted early now watching people in my area stand in line for 3+ hours.

3. My belly now officially goes way to the right. As I sit here I feel it pulling. I think it is due to sleeping on my left side. Kind of annoying!

4. I feel so unprepared for everything right now and it really has me in a funk.

5. I cannot wait for it to be 5 CST as the early polls start to close on the east coast. I really want to take tomorrow off so I can stay up and watch the coverage through tonight but I probably should not do that.

6. Every 4 years for one day a year a loath living in Texas!

7. I bought a book of stamps yesterday to send out our thank you cards and was offended by the equality stamp. I don't want to use it but if I don't use the equality ones I will have to buy a second book.

8. Garage sale this weekend so I am hoping we make a fast couple hundred dollars. This money is going towards baby things.

9. Two lesbians debating circumcision is not a fun discussion but it has to be had with two boys on the way. We talked about it last night but I am still unsure if we decided which way to go. This has been my primary thought today... so sad.

10. I am taking a facebook break until later this week. I don't think I can put up with anymore political BS. If you are still debating today well then I feel it's a little too late. I don't mind the I Voted pictures as those are pictures but a 10 page paper why you voted one way and it's the only right way just makes me really mad not matter who you voted for. I think I am just over it.

1. Just finished my paper and turned it in a day early -woohoo

2. Going to get a TB test and live scan this morning for my daycare license. Then on to vote this afternoon

3. We decided to turn the someday office into a playroom for the daycare and Kaden, so we're off to pick up a light (tiffany-ish) blue paint, rugs, bins and toys this afternoon.

4. I've been adding and subtracting things from my amazon cart all day today and yesterday.

5. My first "babysitting" gig (until I get my license) starts next Wednesday. A little girl about K's age and daughter to a lesbian couple we recently met.

6. So excited and nervous about taking care of two babies. I've done it before but it's still daunting.

7. I don't know what will happen if that monster wins the election... Ugh!!! I'm so nervous I can't even THINK about it.

8. I love the weather we've been having its like a November summer, sunny and in the 80's. Unfortunately it won't last the week.

9. Hugs !! to those having a rough day (and/or an exciting one ;-)

10. Okay time to sneak in a shower while K sleeps.

1. Voting is complete. Took me an hour and 45m, but my vote is cast.

2. I cannot concentrate today. My stomach is in knots about presidential election as well as out state marriage initiative.

3. I wish the Pei Wei was en route home. They have having 20% off take out tonight. YUM.

4. I had leftover pad thai for lunch and leftover kettle corn for a snack. YAY!

5. I am supposed to work today? How???

6. Just scheduled Carter's speech therapy appts. Took me long enough.

7. I just tried to make holiday cards and realized I don't have any great pictures of the kids this year. Nothing card worthy. I think I will put them in nicer clothes this weekend and try to get a couple of good shots we can use. I will need all of the luck we can get as my kids aren't not great photo subjects and I am not a great photographer.

8. I have no idea if I need to pick up the kids today or if L is going to. hmmm.

9. Why are hospitals so darn cold? Brrr.

10. Turn the tv on at 7 or wait till 8 and the kids have gone to bed?

1. J and I voted today! The line was pretty much non-existant (seriously, it took about 10 minutes). I was really happy about this!

2. It does make me sad that my dad is voting for Romney though. ::Sigh::

3. One of my coworkers made cookies! Add pizza to that for dinner = super bad eating today. Oops.

4. Morning nausea hit today. I had to lay in bed for almost two hours before it went away. Thank god I work nights!

5. I can't believe I'll already be 6 weeks as of Thursday.

6. We think J's grandma had a stroke this past weekend. If you have any extra T&P's, could you send them her way?

7. AAHHH, I'm so excited for Christmas season! I don't think I would mind skipping Thanksgiving all together (Sorry for all of you turkey lovers!).

8. However, I'll be going to TX for Thanksgiving this year to see my mom, so I'm kind of excited about that. We're going black friday shopping!!! Let's just hope morning sickness doesn't get the best of me during this trip.

9. I really, really don't want to be at work right now.

10. I think I'm going to enjoy my mushroom and cheese pizza now! Big Smile

1. I miss my wife, terribly! She is a full time firefighter and is on duty for the next 48 hours

2. I voted today and took great pride in the fact that my voice could be heard

3. I didn't have to wait in line- a perk of living in a small town (despite it being a republican town!)

4. I represented my sister-in-law in court today and had a very positive outcome!

5. Now that I am done with the case above, I can read my new book "The new essential guide to lesbian conception, pregnancy and birth"

6. My mom is finally home from a 10 day stay at the hospital

7. I've been taking pre-natal vitamins (even though we don't know when we are going to start trying) and my hair is super shiny and soft!

8. My wife and I have lived in our home for 2 years and just finally put up curtains (we have blinds, too!) and now the house feels like home!

9. Discovered today that my cat (10 years old) loves watching tv. We've seen her watching in the past, but she's just addicted (silly, I know)!

10. I'm thankful for the LGBT board!
