The nerdy kids at my school...

...have taken playground insults to a whole new level! I work at a private school, and the curriculum is about 1-1.5 years ahead of our local public school curriculum, so most of the kids are pretty brainy and lacking in the social skills department. More and more parents are putting an emphasis on other activities, so there is hope for them, but this story takes the cake for me:

Two first graders were sent to my office today b/c they were insulting a classmate on the playground. The insult? They were saying, "Hey Lucy*, did you know that Stella* is an evolved version of you?!" (*Names have been changed.) Lucy was in tears for being called "unevolved" in comparison to Stella. Who are these kids?!
