  Hey guys! Sorry for crashing your board but I had a quick question!

  I lurked enough to realize that most of you guys don't really expect anything more than the baby as a "new daddy gift" but I was thinking of getting him a nice cigar as I know he likes to smoke them on special occasions.
  
  Now my problem is I have no idea what is a reasonable price, brand, etc.

  Cigars are tricky because each person has very specific tastes in what they are looking for.  If you want to go tihs route, I would look at these listed on this link.  These are all really good cigars.

  Yeah this can be tricky, but I like the idea.  Nice small thing to celebrate the moment. Maybe you can talk to people who have smoked with him in the past to see what they were smoking.  That might narrow it down a little bit for you.  If you have a decent cigar shop near you just go in there and talk to someone.  They are generally very knowledgeable and can guide you towards what you think he would enjoy.

  Yeah, everyone has different tastes. My husbands fav. ones are tatuaje black label. They seem to be quite popular...maybe go for one or two of those? When I first bought him cigars for xmas a while back, I knew he spent time on a cigar message board and went on there and made my own login and asked his fellow "board mates" what he liked.
