to do many things one handed that (silly me) I used to use both hands to accomplish
one that comes to mind, because I just did it, is removing earrings with backings from my pierced ears
what things have you ladies learned to do with one hand?
**on a side note, I have to laugh when my husband wants to hand LO to me to do something as simple (at least for me) as grabbing a papertowel!
Re: Since having a baby, I have learned...
Go to the bathroom. Who knew 2 hands were helpful, but holding a screaming infant while peeing was a major accomplishment for me. Thankfully she has an easier time entertaining herself now and she got over the phase of thinking that being put down meant she was going to die a horrible death. Now I can do most things 2 handed again since she enjoys sitting up by herself and wnts to do that whenever possible.
As for peeing with baby, just wait until your in public and have to do this!
I have simply because it was so gross in the stall I refused to put her on the baby change table while I peed. Holding a baby and squatting...its a good thing I'm an avid skier and have strong legs!
And this is why I weAr my baby 98 of the time while out! I've peed with a baby strapped to my chest many times.
Yes, all of this!! I can also do some new things with my toes lol.
Wow, peeing with a baby I have not tried yet. I just let them scream for a few or hold my pee... lol.
In public (which I very rarely go out alone w/ children) but if I do I always have the stroller so we just go in the handicapped stall.
But I can text, comp, study, eat, cook, make bottles. Bottles are hard to screw the lid on but I do it! Now that I think about it, peeing is about the only thing I haven't had to do 1 handed.
This, lol. I have never had the need to hold him while I pee. DS isn't a particularly high maintenance baby though.
One thing I HATE is typing one-handed.
