Rec your breast pump!

I am between the Medela Pump-in-Style and Ameda Purely Yours, but would love some thoughts/opinions on any pump you have/will use!  Also, I called my insurance, and they will only cover a rental if the baby is in the NICU.  So, I will definitely be buying or registering for one!  Thanks, ladies!

  • I have the Medela PISA and love it. Highly recommend it.
  • I'm going with the PISA.

I have had several friends with both and the PISA always comes out on top.

  • Ive used both and like them both the same.  I also had the Lansinoh Affinity Double Electric and that was garbage.

  • I'm a STM and I used a Medela Pump in Style  the first time around. I was happy with it. This time I had to buy my own and actually just picked it up last night. I went with another Medela. I know it worked last time and didn't want any surprises this go round, especially since now I'm working full time and will be pumping at work come springtime. Needed the reliability.

  • I am hijacking this thread-has anyone used the freestyle? I know it is more expensive, but friends that have it love the portability. Also, I think that Apria carries Medela freestyle, so hopefully it will be covered by insurance. :)
