Birthday party! (PIP)

So the birthday party was Sunday. It was fun -- had a pretty good turnout but still a lot of left over cupcakes (nice breakfast this week)! Had to light the candle twice for a photo op (I video-ed and told my mom to take pics, but she didn't, so we did it again. ha).

Didn't get any double presents (surprise) and some pretty fun ones. We will for sure have to clean out some of the ones we have to make room, though. Not sure what how that will work after Christmas! ha.

I was sooo tired after -- so was the baby...she took a very long nap. Glad she had a nap before the party and was in a pretty good mood, especially with the time change.

Some advice for other party-ers this month: make sure you plan more than enough time for prep time. Even with help and pre-prep, it took FOREVER to set up (lots of cupcakes and stickers and hanging stuff up, so lots of little stuff that took some time), and I was finishing up when a couple of people got there early. But overall success!

VERY cute! I totally agree with your prep early comment. I took Friday off and we worked on the party all day and Saturday until 3 and still were just finishing up when people arrived. I'm too exhausted to even post pictures. lol Sometime this week tho.
