we're waiting until 1/1 to TTC again - should I start temping again now to get back in the hang of it or just wait until 1/1?

The first time I was temping I started mid-cycle becuase I didn't want to wait for the end of a cycle (135 days).. not sure what to do now. TIA!

June - December 2013; Clomid/Femara + Trigger + TI = BFN x 4

July 2016 - December 2016; Gonal-F + Ovidren + IUI = BFN x 3
May 2018 - IVF #1; 8 snowbabies. transferred 1 embryo - CP
August 2018 - FET #1 -- Healthy Baby Boy  <3

    I would at least temp all over december to get back in the swing of things and know your cycle!  Also sorry Oct was not a fun month for you guys, hope the new year brings happy things for you;)

    well, i suppose that settles it! thanks everyone :)

    I just ordered a new Mabis thermometer becuase mine from Target was favoring 96.18.

    I would start now.  The more data you have for once your start TTGP again the better.

    I would start now, if it was further away that would be one thing but 1/1 is very close and time flies! I think you'll want to feel like you have control of everything when you get to that date.

    I vote start now.  DH and I will TTC again either December or January - depending on my cycle and I started temping this cycle to get back into the swing of things.  I'm happy with my decision - it's helping me feel more ready.

    I have just started temping. I wish I would have started as soon as my Mirena was removed.

    I say start now. Couldn't hurt!

    Im sure you have enough suggestions to start now...

    but... we are also going to start ttc 1/1... and I started ff about 2 weeks ago... its good to know your body and how it works...

    Me-30 DH-30 Married January 2008 TTC since January 2010 PCOS and blocked Tube IVF #1 January 2014-BFN
