I am 18 weeks and I am dying to feel the baby move!!! I feel like it may be soon but with this being my first i have no idea! Is it true that you usually don't feel anything until 20 - 22 weeks with your first?
This my first and I just happened to be laying on my stomach with my hand right above my pevlic bone (I often sleep that way) and the baby must have done a full roll over cause I certainly felt it.. this was at about 14 weeks. Barely anything since though
I thought I was potentially feeling butterflies around week 17, nothing at all for week 18, and then this week (19) I am 100% confident I am feeling movement with my first. It is very unique and borderline weird...I can't even imagine what the hard jabs are going to feel like
I felt very light movement occasionally early on, maybe 15 weeks, but I had to really be paying attention to notice it. I didn't start feeling unmistakable every day movement until 19 weeks.
I felt movement around 18 weeks but everyone is different. I posted a video of my stomach moving around 20 weeks on my birth month board and there were people both farther along and less far along than me who had not felt movement yet. You might have an anterior placenta (placenta in the front) which will make it harder for you to feel movement.
I've hardly felt anything and this is my 2nd! It's killing me, I felt DD around 18 weeks. So I'm actually further along with this one and still haven't felt anything. I must be carring this one differently.

I JUST started feeling baby move this week (in my 17th week). I THOUGHT I felt it a few times before, but on Saturday I definitely felt it... and I have continued to feel it for the past few days. It's awesome :-) So you might feel it sooner!
