With DS I was out of state by myself no friends and my H was never around either for work, friends, or screwing around. I leaned on my family by phone but it got to the point that they screened my calls, especially after I was placed on bedrest board out of my mind.
This time around I'm back home with my family, my FI is amazing and much more attentive than XH was. I'm still early on, 5 weeks, so I'm trying to not focus so much on the pregnancy. I don't want it to be all I think about or talk about because I know that will get old real fast and a super long 9 months.
What are some things I can do to help keep my mind off of it? My 4 yr old keeps me pretty busy and I'm also in school full time which will also keep me busy. I just really need to find something to place my focus on.
Re: How to not focus on pregnancy?
Try learning something new - sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting, scrap booking, etc.
Also, non-pregnancy related reading. Find a new series to get hooked on.
