zithromax for ear infection

LO has an ear infection and was placed on zithromax . Has anyone had luck with this drug? LO doesn't care for the taste after his first dose.  He is allergic to the "cillians."

    Try mixing with some baby yogurt or feeding using a spoon.  I had the hardest time giving DD medicine using the syringe but when I started using her baby spoon she took it with no trouble.

    Can you do it before solids so it's followed up with a different taste right away?  Or does that mess with how it's absorbed into their system?
