Thanks for the unwanted opinion, witch!

Just a quick vent- we were at the library today, and this fat witch who has an in-home daycare starts talking to DS, and then asks me if he's about 11 months old. I said, no he's 14. She responds, "so he's pretty delayed then huh?" I replied actually he's not.

Then she says, "That rash around his mouth is from his pacifier, you should think about stopping that." I said thank you, but he doesn't use a pacifier, and walked away.

What a witch!

a. you run a daycare and should know the ages for milestones

and b. STFU I didn't ask for any opinions or advice.

    What a terrible person.

    She probably doesn't even have kids.Confused

    I think you responded appropriately. Is this someone you will run into again?

    Maybe it's a good thing I don't go out that much because I haven't gotten any rude comments like that.  I'd have given it to her, but it's tough when rudeness catches you off-guard.

    When I read your title, I was like dang...that's harsh! But then I actually read it and was like dang that lady must be nuts or something?! She must be either a serious idiot and shouldn't be watching children or has it out for you for some reason. P.S. My LO also has some little (very faint) dots around her mouth and has never taken a pacifier...I think it must be from milk that wasn't wiped off completely or something.

    I would just steer clear of her if I saw her out at another event. What makes me sad is the poor kids she takes care of all day, every day. She was not very warm or loving, or even attentive to them :(

    It boggles my mind why people should tell you how to parent.  When people say things to me, especially strangers I get so annoyed!!  What gives you the right to comment on something you know nothing about.
