Do these babies have teeth? Olivia still had no teeth and I am afraid to give her real food, although I am hoping she will eat some thanksgiving food. When we give her "lumpier" stage 2 food she sometimes gulps and seems like she has a hard time swallowing.

My rule of thumb with Emily right now is if I can mash it up enough with my fingers to swallow, she can mash it with her gums, if not it needs to be small enough peices that she can swallow without much chewing.
She has 2 bottom teeth but doesnt really use them to chew unless it is to bite a peice of something off.
All babies gag when they are learning to eat real food, it is their way of learning when a peice of food is to big to swallow and needs to be chewed more. I just make sure that the food is soft enough that she wont choke.
She eats graham crackers, puffs, soup, French fries, spaghetti, etc. all soft stuff that teeth or feet aren't required for.
DD has two bottom teeth, but we've been giving her table food from the beginning.
We mostly give her softer things to eat, but she loves to knaw on hard things too (raw carrots, pickles, etc). The only thing we've given her that she had trouble with was apple slices. Her two little teeth kept breaking the wedges and she would get huge chunks in her mouth, so we'll wait awhile before we try apple slices again!

I'm paranoid.
I let him taste what I'm eating... Not really EAT it though, I'm still building up the courage for that day
