Rec your waterproof twin mattress pad?!?!

I'm trying to find a mattress pad for my son's twin bed that is waterproof.  Does anyone have one that they would recommend?  I found one but its very thin and I'm doubtful that its actually waterproof.  I figure I need something good for the times he is transitioning with potty training.

TIA!

Re: Rec your waterproof twin mattress pad?!?!

  • We bought our mattress at Macy's with a waterproof pad and 10 year guarantee (just $69 more) so that if the mattress pad rips or anything, they replace it free, and if the bed ever gets a stain, etc. they will come professionally clean it, or if that doesn't work they replace the mattress. Totally worth the money, but not sure the brand of the mattress pad they gave us. It's really thin, but works wonders.

  • You can buy one of those zippered plastic covers for the mattress, which helps protect the mattress but I dont want to constantly wash his bedding to so I have two of the waterproof (and soft) crib pads from Target on top of his sheets and they stay in place and work great. They are pretty long/big too

they are these ones but the flat style, not the fitted

Goodnights makes a waterproof sheet that sticks to the bedding too but its not washable

  • We have this kind on DD1's bed, and it is definitely waterproof.

  • I have purchased my mattress pad from an online store. They have all kinds and sizes mattress pads available so I think you will find one suitable for you. Link is given in my signature.
