any idea what this might be (sickness related)?

DD has had some strange symptoms. For the past six weeks, she has had minor cold symptoms that are pretty much gone now. She also has a fever and comes and goes.

For the past two days, she has been peeing really frequently and complaining of irritation in her privates. Today, she has been peeing every 15 minutes. I had to put a diaper on her last night so she could go to sleep without getting up to pee all the time.

She developed a mild rash on her back and torso today.

I took her to the dr., and she doesn't have a UTI. They also did blood work and found nothing wrong with her kidneys. They think the rash and fever are a viral infection and didn't really say what's causing the peeing.

Is she constipated? That happened to DS, he was so constipated that it was blocking/smushing his bladder so he could only do a little at a time and was going all.the.time. Figured this out by taking him to the ped b/c we thought he had a UTI, but it was negative.

it does sound viral to me, the peeing & irritation is strange though - if it's not better in a few days I'd head back to the doctor & ask again

No, she's not constipated. She's pooping regularly.
