Any preemie moms use one of the angelcare monitors for movement/breathing? My 34 weeker has brief desats and apnea spells. I know he needs to go a week apnea free to come home. I thought this might help my worries once he is home.
Yes, I use it with my preemie and I used it with her older sister who is not a preemie. Totally saves my sanity. My favorite baby product by far.
Only downside is that it can only be used with a flat surface, such as a crib. We have the Snuza Go movement monitor for the daytime to cover when she's in her rock n play or bouncer. These two devices prevent lots and lots of worry and breathing checks!
DD#1, Alexa, Born 8/08; TTC # 2 since 3/2010; 8 IUI BFN; 1 cervical pregnancy in April 2011; IVF #1 Dec 2011 worked. EDD = 9/7/12. Bedrest starting 6/4/12. Julia Mae born 7/1/12, home 8/12/12.
Love our Angel Care Monitor - I noticed it stop doing false alarms once we got the plywood down. It really is an amazing thing and helped me finally get some rest.
