  With both boys i used the midwives with OBGYN of Atlanta. I delivered at Northside. There are several midwives and several drs in the practice. I had a great experience with the midwives there.

  I delivered a VBAC with Intown Midwifery. They deliver at Atlanta Medical Center. Not the fanciest in town, but it's a great hospital. Can't speak highly enough about the midwives at IM.

  There is no birth center in Atlanta, although Intown Midwifery is hoping to open one in the future, called Atlanta Birth Center. If you want a true midwife led practice the only one I would recommend is Intown Midwifery. I had a fantastic experience with them.

  I had a water birth at AMC with Intown Midwifery last Nov and would do it all over again they are great!

  If you are considering a home birth, I would look into Southeastern Midwifery. I went to nursing school with Natalie and she is a wonderful person. She trained under the midwives at Intown Midwifery.
