Band of scar tissue in uterus with pregnancy!

My husband and I was so excited about learning the gender of our baby. We are having a boy! But at my 20 weeks ultrasound we found out I have a thick band of scar tissue in my uterus, from front to back and it causes the baby not to be able to drop head down when its time. They told due to this I must have a C-section! But they not even the most worrisome news. There is a possiblity that the band can tear and if it does, it will allow the baby to drop but the tissue can wrap around parts of the baby and cause deformites and or circulation problems!Indifferent I am freaking out! I believe in my heart everything will be ok but I can't help but think about the "what if". Has anyone had this problem you either know or maybe even yourself?

  • I've never heard of that. Have you had a c-section before?

I assume they will be monitoring you a little more carefully now, so if the band were to tear, I would think that the doctors will catch it quickly. I learned with my 2vc not to google anything, it will undoubtedly freak you out! Trust in your doctors and in your gut- if you feel something becomes wrong, don't be afraid to call and asked to be checked-- but don't freak yourself out either over nothing, either. Anxiety isn't good for the baby!
