If you used a glider chair

how long did you use it for?  I sat in one for the first time and it was so comfortable.  I have a 5 month old and am considering buying one.

  • I still use it with DD1 when she doesn't feel well or if she is having a rough night, but I use it every night for DD2.

  • We got the upholstered kind that looks like an armchair so we could keep it a long time...it is wide enough that I can still sit w/ 2 three year olds on my lap reading, and MH & I love sitting in it to surf the internet or read or whatever> I think we'll use it for a long time.
  • DD is 2.5 and we still use it every day 2-3 x a day since she is still nursing.

  • Our oldest is 2.5 and we still use it every night and during the day to read books.  I think we'll end up keeping it in her room for a long while.  She also likes to sit in it on her own when shes flipping through books by herself.  Well worth the money!

  • DD is almost 2.5 and we use it every night as part of our bedtime routine
  • I never used mine since I broke my tailbone when I had DS. So I sold my unused glider on Craigslist after it sat in my house for a year.

  • We are still using...and will use it more when LO #2 is born! DS will be three next month.

  • I use it to rock DD every night. She's 2. When she was a baby I hated it and used the lazy boy.
  • We still use ours because it's where we read stories to DS every night before bed. We have an upholstered one that doesn't really look like a glider so whenever we're done using it for kids, it will likely transition into a living/family room piece.
  • We got ours as a baby shower gift from my ILs, and we love it!  DS is 27 months old today and we still rock him to nap/sleep in it everyday.  I would say buy it...you will get a lot of use out of it, especially if you have more children.
PPD/PPA Mom...it has been super hard, but I'm making it! Slow steps...
