I am newly pregnant and I need to figure out what's next. I want to find a doctor that is affiliated or works with W&I since that's where I've read up is a good hospital.
I live in Attleboro, but I work in Fall River, so any office in between would work for me for appointments. Also - what else should I be doing?? haha, I've only told my mom and 2 friends, but since I'm only just 4 weeks (since my last cycle and got the positive test on Sunday), I just don't know if there's anything else I need to start doing besides eating right and getting sleep.
Thanks in advance for any help you all can give - this is my first time!
Re: Docs associated with W & I
I go to Thundermist in Woonsocket. I love it! I live in Woonsocket so it's even better.
We're not going to W & I we're actually doing opposite.. We're in E. Prov. and heading to Sturdy. We use Obgyn Associates of Attleboro and love them.. If you ever think about using them I love Dr. DeJesus (woman) and Dr. DiGiovanni (man) We're not high risk and love the family friendliness of the hospital. We had an amazing experience w/ DD they have less patients so they have lots of time for you. As others said theres the OBGYN Associates that is in N. Attleboro. We used the Prov. office and I wouldnt rec. them. I had some really frustrating experience w/ them with a miscarraige we had earlier this year. They forgot to schedule a follow up appt. Gave me the news of my miscarraige over the phone really casually and then forgot to make an appt for bloodwork I was supposed to have. My primary shared they also missed 2 irregular pap smears at that office for her.
I would also remind you that you should be taking a pre-natal vitamin. Either borrow from the library what to expect when you're expecting or run out and grab a copy. super helpful and gives you lots of advice for each stage of pregnancy!
Congrats!
