So today we got to see our regula pedi for a follow up. She said it does sound like he was overeating and we have fixed that...but that the squirming and grunting might mean he does have an upset tummy. She said since he has been getting both formula and BM his body is probably confused, especially since I hardly eat dairy and the formula is milk based. She recommended that we regulate the feeding so it isn't just formula randomly here and there. She also gave us a non-milk based formula with probiotics. So we are going to try all BM during the day and this special formula at night. This will help me too because I've been getting a ton of help from my mom in order to pump as much as I have been, so this way I may be able to cut back slightly and not need so much help. So we will try this for a few days and see if the grunting and squirming get better.
