Would you buy these shoes in winter?

It looks like I'm gonna have to break down and spend $40 on another pair of shoes for DD. I wanted to go the cheaper route but I have such a hard time getting a lot of shoes on her wide, chubby little feet lol :)

Anyway, I need some opinions...would you buy a mary jane shoe like this one for your LO in the winter time? I think these are adorable and they seem like they would be much easier to get on and off than a closed sneaker but I just wonder if her feet will get cold even with socks on with them. They don't exactly seem to be a summer shoe - and I would think if they were then they might be on clearance or something anyway right?

Oh and we live in NJ so it gets pretty cold here through the winter but nothing EXTREME. TIA!

    Those are fine! I'd just make sure she wears socks with them. I'm from NJ also and have something similar for my DD. Haven't had any issues with them yet and it's been chilly here. She does have a couple pairs of boots though, for when it gets really cold.

    I would totally buy them!

    We have a couple pair like that and I live in the dead of the midwest...lol. :)

    I always feel like socks keep feet warmer than shoes anyways. If that's cold out we're only out for a short time, going to or from somewhere or she's in boots.

    I would.  Also, check out ebay.  I got LO 3 pairs of Stride Rite shoes that were barely worn for $30 total.

    I would buy them. LO will also wear her runners this winter but we also have boots for more wintery days.
    TTC #1 April 2009 Dx with PCOS September 2009 TI w Clomid x3 = BFNs IUI w Clomid = BFN TI w Clomid = BFP! August 2010 We are blessed. TTC #2 TTC on our own August & September 2012 = BFN x 2 (so I thought) Appt w RE Oct 2012 and got a BFP that day! Thank you, Lord. Nov 23 7 week u/s - so far so good.
