Leaking....

I didn't have this with my first pregnancy but today at work I had an incident with a leaky boob!  My right one was leaking, I was fortunate that a paper napkin was sufficient but I need to go buy some nipple pads now.  It seems just to be my right breast also, does anyone know if that's normal?

I pumped for my first due to his medical conditions and never had a problem with my supply but it didn't come in for a couple days after his birth.  I never had any leaks the first time around.

    Totally normal to leak. I didn't leak or have sore tatas with DD. Not this time around though.

    I wouldn't worry. I don't remember leaking my 1st pregnancy either, so much as my midwife telling me that the little crusties that I thought were dried skin were colostrum. Anyway, while BF'ing, I never had issues, but Righty was the work-horse hands-down. And now Righty leaks dark yellow here and there-- not enough to wear more than my lined bra. Lefty just has the little crusties.

    i never leaked my first 2 pregnancies but with this one i started leaking several months ago. i hear its totally normal

    I started leaking at 22 weeks. It's normally just at night, but still odd. Dr says its totally normal

    I leak a little, mostly after a hot shower.  I would suggest getting some type of pads for inside your bra b/c as much as others say it won't, I found last time that it does stain yur bras (yuck!). It may sound silly, but I use the little round cotton makeup pad things. Store brand of those is so much cheaper than breast pads.  Also, my bras are already pretty tight and the make up pads take up less room than the breas pads.

    Great idea to use the makeup pads! I hadn't noticed the leaking because I always wear a lined bra, just noticed that there was occasionally some oozing in the bath. I had to stay overnight in the ER on a cardiac monitor last weekend though (just hospital gown, no bra) and I leak from the left only, just enough to leave little wet spots on on the gown every time I moved... A bit embarrassing. I haven't started using my breast pads because they're thick (bamboo), but I will definitely try the makeup pads :)

    Yup. It's normal. DD leaned on me the other morning, when I was just wearing a t-shirt. Within a few seconds I had a nice wet ring on my t-shirt!
