Can i give my 2yr old cold medicine?

Or just the Tylenol? She is so sick. Also, i give them the liquid vitamin with Flouride but they hate it so i want to try a gummy one. What do you recommend?

I have well water so no flouride. So i am still going to give them the liquid form. But after this cold probably.

Thanks!!

  • We have given ds a gummy vitamin since around 2, and he's 3 now.  He loves them.  I buy the Target brand of the flintstones one, because it's cheaper.

As for the cold medicine, I've always heard no cold medicine that young.  We still do just Tylenol and occassionally Benadryl if he has a runny nose.  I know Hylands makes a cold medicine that goes as young as 2, but I've never tried it.

  • Zarbee's also make a cough/cold medicine that our pedi recommended. It's honey based and all-natural.
