How was Halloween???

It was a great day for us!  Nothing like I planned but it was still fun. 

DD got to go trick-or-treating around daycare and she got the cutest little loot bag, full of juices, animal crackers, GoldFish, etc.  I didn't grow up with family around, so I didn't realize that people bring their kids around to see family, when their all dressed up.  News to me!  So we spent the evening visiting a couple neighbors, where trick-or-treating yielded a beer and a bag of puff corn, then we drove off to find FIL and then up to Great Grandma.  Great Grandma had a banana for DD which was goo because she was tired and cranky, but the banana turned her into the Energizer bunny!!  We stayed there until almost 9 because DD was having so much fun and being so silly, it was Halloween, it's ok if she was up past bedtime!!  Over all a great night, DD didn't even care that she was in her costume for hours on end. 

I missed out on HDBD yesterday, and all the good pics are still on my camera, but here is a pic I took of DD while we were getting ready to drive around.

    Aww, your dd is adorable! Our Halloween was low key, we stayed inside handed out candy. LO is sick with a cold, so he was clingy, fussy, and stayed up way past bedtime.
    Hopefully, next year will be better.

    DD1 had a blast.  This was her first year really ToT and she figured it out right away.  She was also very lucky because people kept putting extra in her bucket to give to her sister.

    DD2 just liked being out for a walk and hanging out with her sister.

    I think we started a brand new tradition. My DH is a chef and had to work last night so I surprised him by taking LO in his costume to the restaurant and we got to spend dinner together.

    02.2013 - loss at 6 wks

    06.2014 - DS2

    10.2015 - loss at 12 wks

    03.2017 - DD

    Ours was good. We took DD trick or treating along with my nephew. She had a blast and mommy enjoyed eating her candy ;)

    Ours was good, we took the kids trick or treating in my dads neighborhood and about halfway through sent LO with DH back to dad's so LO wouldn't get cold and me and the older two finished up. We only hit about two blocks and the kids were overflowing! Sadly, all the good pics are on DH's phone.

    DS and I went to the mall, we got there about 40ish mins before they finished handing out candy. So all the good stuff and most of the stores were out of candy... I let DS walk until he grabbed at the stroller like he wanted back in. Probably got candy from about ten stores, so not a lot of candy. I was hoping DH would come but he's been cranky with me since Tuesday night. He couldn't get over it and be there for DS, but oh well... his loss :[

    It was good, but today we're kind of paying for the kids being up way past their bed time.  I went to the costume parade at daycare and then we went to a party and then we went to my parent's house and trick or treated in their neighborhood.  Kids were up until 8:30, which doesn't seem that late, but it's about 1.5 hours later than normal.  DD was a mess this morning.  Poor baby :(

    We spent the entire day visiting family. They enjoyed it, but we were miserable by the time the day was over because we spent so much time in the car.

    Next year we are just trick or treating around the neighborhood.

    We had a good time! We only went to one of the neighbors house, but my cousin down the street and her 2 year old came by for pictures and playing. And my mom and aunt/uncle came buy (aunt brought her puffs. hehe). She stayed in her costume about 2 hours, which I thought was a plus! (Picture in siggy...)
