Did anyone switch to a convertible car seat yet? I wanted to hold my guy out from switching for a couple more months but he is busting out of it, can barely snap him in it anymore! If you switched what car seat did you buy or what have you used in the past? Looking at Babies R'Us is extremly overwhelming to me when there is like 30 to choose from! haha I hate choices...thank you!
Re: Recommend your car seat
We switched when she was 3.5 months because she hated the infant seat, We have a Britax Boulevard and are really, really happy with it. Super easy to install, adjust, etc. It does have a shorter shell than some of the other seats on the market. My LO is smaller so it shouldn't be a problem, but if your LO is taller maybe check out other options.
She doesn't ride in my H's car as often so the infant seat will stay there until she outgrows it.
We searched and searched. Finally we bought the Recaro Proride from amazon. It was least expensive there and it's so safe. I think it has Italian racing lineage. Our little guy loves it and we are buying a second. We looked at the britax but I liked the safety of the wings on the Proride. And it fits our jeep Cherokee with room to spare.
Good luck!
We got all the seats from Walmart's website since they were on sale and had free sitetostore. the graco ran us 125 on sale and the safety 1st seats were less than 80 on sale.

In my car, we have the Diono Radian RXT. It's a little more $$$, but ideally you won't have to buy another seat for that LO again. (RF, FF, and booster all-in-one up to 120#s).
In DHs truck, we have an inexpensive Cosco Scenera. It's very basic but still safe with great reviews. (Since she doesn't ride in DHs truck as often, I didn't want to spend a lot on another Diono.)
