Just a phase Im sure BUT.....All of a sudden my 2 year old son will NOT feed himself anything with a spoon/fork....he's never been great at a fork but now he wont even use a spoon.
Feed me has suddenly become her most used phrase. : It's kind of funny since we did BLW so she's always fed herself. I didn't feed her at all before she turned 1, and suddenly at 2 she won't eat unless I feed her.

My DD is the same way, so I asked my pedi about it at her last appointment. His thoughts was that as long as we know that she can feed herself, but just won't, that it's fine if we need to help her along at meals.

OP, do you have a baby on the way / new baby? Sometimes they'll regress to get the attention that the baby is getting.
Toddlers are also missing the comfort of being held/carried/cuddled everywhere. Your LO may be trying to get "quality time" to make up for it.
Alexa has always been like this. It's a rare occasion she will feed herself.
She would rather starve. >:l So I always ended up feeding her myself. >:/
