I'm color blind and it sucks.

I bought this bunting for Violet and I complained to MH that everyone thinks Violet is a boy.  He said "Well she is wearing blue, ah duh"

I'm seriously color blind especially with dark blues and purples and grays and green.  My beef is that Amazon described the color as light grape.  WTH I just went and bought the pink one.

    Aw, I think it's cute and perfectly girl appropriate in blue!  I hate how boys have the market cornered in blue.  I always make it a point NOT to buy pink stuff for girls.  Stay strong with the blue!!! You're crafty, just add a bow to the hood!

    Sew a white satin bow to one side of the hood. Instant girl. Or even pink would be cute with the blue and white.

    I'm ok that she wears blue, I just hate correcting people all day. I tried dying it pink so it would be blue/purple and pink but it is 100% polyester and impossible to dye.

    Maybe I will iron on letters to say "girl"

    Yeah, C's hair is getting really long and he keeps getting called a girl. I should get it cut, but it's so pretty and soft. We play a game where we brush each other's hair singing, "Pretty hair, nice hair."

    I second this! I don't correct them, but if they ask "oh how old is he?!" I answer with "SHE just turned a year". They still don't get it. SMH

    Awww don't feel bad. I dress LO in pink tops and colorful pants and people still ask "how old is he?" I go "she just turned a year" and they are like oohhhhh its a girl?

    They say 'its'?  WTF!

    People mistake C for a girl all the time, regardless of what he's wearing.
