DD had a bad day today - sickness related?

DD has been sick lately, and I'm not sure if this is related but her behavior was really bad today. Her sickness started with a stomach flu two weeks ago. She also has a mild stuffy nose and a cough that is slowly getting better. She got a fever last week for one day, and again this week for 2 1/2 days. I took her to the dr. twice this week, most recently today b/c she is peeing almost constantly and I think she may have a UTI. The dr. did a test, but we won't get the results until Monday. 

On top of that, she was literally insane in the grocery store today. She let out ear piercing screams all throughout the store, all the while kicking the food in the cart. She has meltdowns every now and then, but nothing like this. People were staring at me and saying "oh my God!" She cried so much her eyes were puffy and red the rest of the day.

She has also been extremely whiny all day, constantly saying "mama" or "I want you." 

Any clue what could be wrong with her? Could her behavior be related to whatever sickness she has?

    When kids are sick they don't know how to express how they feel so sometimes they act out.  I'm sorry that your DD has been sick.  I hope she feels better soon and that her behavior is related so that it goes away when she feels better (for your sake).
