Big christmas gifts for 2 year old boys

We have a wooden playset, Pottery Barn anywhere chair, kitchen set, table set, work bench, leap pad. DS is the first grandchild and great-grandchild on both sides so he is a little spoiled come birthdays/christmas! Everyone keeps asking me what to get him and I can't think of any other "big" gifts or anything in general. He is very into Blues Clues so DH and I are taking him to see that live. Any suggestions??

  • What about a train table, wagon, outdoor swing/play set, modified power wheels, ....?

These are all things that my very active almost 3 year old loves and has loved for quite some time.

  • What about a small, indoor sized Trampoline with the handle for them to hold on to? That's what we are getting ds1. He loved our friend's and she says her children have played on it daily for 3 years now! They aren't too horribly expensive and its a great way to burn off energy... and keep mine from jumping on the beds and couches!

  • Train tables are a big hit and usually last quite awhile.  We also got DS a scooter (training type with 3 wheels) and he loves it.

  • What about a ride-on toy? Like the powered jeeps/etc. DS LOVES anything like that. They can get pretty pricey though.

  • Another vote for train table, then you can have other relatives buy additional tracks and trains.  Also wagon and tricycle are good.  You could also get season passes to zoo, childrens museum, Sesame Place or other amusement park.

If he is into trucks, Bruder makes awesome ones. Not in the same price range as the other things but still not cheap and awesome quality, long time use if he likes trucks and diggers.

I was also going to suggest a season pass to something in your area or a visit somewhere or something like that.
