Huge weight lifted... FINALLY
As most of you ladies know in July the moving truck that had everything from our move on it caught fire and we lost EVERYTHING! Including everything for the new LO. The moving company was only able to give us roughly 40% of what we asked for money wise. We were able to get the necessities for our family as of right now. Kitchenware, Dinining table and chairs, living room furniture, master bedroom stuff, and a bed for my SD. We have gotten clothes here and there and bathroom stuff as well. But our house is still very empty. Last night we finally got a call back from our insurance company, and they are giving us everything we asked for, that they covered!! I can finally get a crib and dresser for my LO!! I was crying while talking to the insurance guy. I have been so worried that we wouldnt be able to get a crib or a dressure before the LO arrived. I can finally unpack everything and work on a nursery!! Now, ITS TIME TO SHOP!!!

Oh my god - I'm so happy for you! I was actually wondering the other day what was happening with you and your mess that you were having to sort out (which was a pain in the a**)....
We had to make an insurance claim on damaged stuff in our sea container down to New Zealand - and we're not even getting 6% of what each item was claimed as (not that there's a lot, but the $ won't cover the repairs that need to be done).
