Ugh MIL!

I know you all love MIL post well here is one. My MIL is crazy. She thinks only of herself and when you call her out on anything she gets offended. So since I have met her all she talks about is how sick DH was as a child. He had some kidney problem and asthma (which I attribute to the fact that she smoked her entire pregnancy she won't admit that though) Our ped is the same Doc Dh saw as a child so she knows him and loves to talk about how wonderful he. I like him but don't think he is a god. Several times when DD has been with her she has called the doc without my permission.
So DS has been sick got a cold from DD but with a baby you treat differently. I took him in and the doc put him on antibiotics and a nebulizer. I told her this (I should not have) I tried to get the meds but three pharmacies were out so they ordered it and said it would be in the next day at 2. MIL said she would get it for me since I can't leave during naptime. I said I would around 12 to see if they were in earlier. The next day DH calls to tell me the pharmacy called the meds are in well I was out with just DD and i would go by. This was around 11. I did not call MIL nor did DH. I went to the pharamcy at 12:00 and they said someone had picked it up at at 11:30. She didn't call to tell me she picked it up. then she goes to my house the babysitter was there with DS and she gives him the meds without my permission( she also had to tell the Babysitter all about DH's medical problems) I think she misses the attention she got back then.. She never told me this until I called her.
Okay I tell DH this and today he says to his mom you should have call her to tell her you got the meds. She goes off on how she was doing me a favor and didn't need to come up and get them. Now she wants to have talk with him this weekend. Every few months they have these "talks" She starts to cry and asks why he is so mean to her.
UGh she is freaking crazy. I had to get it off my chest.

Holy Cow! I can't believe she gave him medicine without your knowledge! I hope DH brings that up during their "talk". I also can't believe they are having a "talk"!
These mils that somehow make everything about them amaze me.
Both my mil and mom are having thanksgiving at their houses. My mom is having her dinner at 4:00 because some of my family will be working in the day. I politely asked my mil what time she was planning on having her dinner, she said ,"Not sure yet but I can work around you." I thought that was great so I told her what time we were eating at my moms. She told me, "Oh well we will probably eat at 3." I would never expect her to work around me but why would she say that if she did the opposite of working around me? Edit: every year, dh's family eats at 1 which would have been perfect!
i didn't man to hijack your post..just wanted to let you know you aren't the only one being annoyed by your mil this week!:)

I would be livid...I'd call the pharmacy & try to put something on your account that from now on only you & DH can pick up medicine... & I'd also tell the babysitter that if she or anyone else tries to pull this stunt again to call you immediately!
picking up meds vs. administering them... big, huge, difference.
