So happy to have a little connection

We are at my brother house and charging up and warming up, he was able to get a generator in PA. We have no power and no cell service, Verizon has sporadic cell service but I cannot get 3G at my house. We are lucky that our town was only affected by down power lines and trees but we only live 6 miles from the beach and it is horrible over there.

    Jen I have been watching it on the news and wondering who, if anyone,  from here was being affected.

    Still no power. Our electric co still has over 16,000 outages and there were originally over 20,000. Our town only had 16,500 in the 2012 census so I would guess that is most houses and businesses is town. We have one gas station open and the line is almost 3/4 mile long.

    It is crazy!

    Red Cross trucks are either out of gas or running out!

    ETA: the town where my Mom lives, 6 miles from me, will not have school for another week so that will be two weeks off, they have a tiny area of town that is ocean front beach that is having the gasmain explosions.
