Baptism outfit

Has anyone picked out a baptism outfit yet? Rob is getting baptized on Dec 8th at my parents' house. I'm not sure if I want to get a traditional baptism outfit or just a nice outfit. What did you decide on? Feel free to PIP.

    We are baptizing Jackson in the Catholic church the Sunday after Thanksgiving.  This is the outfit I got for him, and it just came in the mail and I LOVE it.....it's really beautiful and well made....

    At first I was going to get him a gown, but when I looked at the pictures on the site I thought the boys looked too much like girls in the gowns, haha! So, I went with the romper and jacket and I love it.  It was a little pricey, but my mom bought it for him (spoiled, only grand child!!!) soooo......

    Just got the gift in the mail I ordered for his godmother....a pair of earrings made of periodot, his birth stone.  Got them on etsy.com and they're gorgeous.  

    What kind of outfit are you thinking for your LO?

    My DS is on the left and my nephew is on the right.  They're getting baptized this weekend and we were trying to take pics of them together (big fail)

    My DS outfit is actually a hand me down and it's ivory. My nephew's is a new outfit. I like the fact that my nephew has a tie and vest.  My DS just has a vest. 

    I saw Macys carrying some nice outfits the other day if you haven't checked them out yet.

    DD is being baptized on Sunday. She will wearing the family heirloom gown that was hand made by her great great grandmother. She turned 96 a few weeks ago and will be coming to the baptism and has no idea DD will be wearing her gown.

    I was most impressed with their customer service.  They sew most of the gowns in Idaho. They will embroider, but I hand embroidered their names on the slip.

    Dex is getting baptized the Sunday before Thanksgiving. We got his outfit this past weekend it's a guayabera looking shirt with simple pants:nbsp; The gowns were out he's just too big and I'm not a huge fan of gowns for boys, and I didn't like how formal the suits and tuxes were. We went to 'Little Mexico' in Atl, and saw some pretty interesting outfits. I joked with DH that we were going to get the suit with Our Lady of Guadalupe stitched on the back of the jacket.nbsp; I even took a picture you're welcome:nbsp;


    Lol!!! My church is Our Lady of Guadalupe!! Maybe i'd get some serious churchy brownie points if I dressed him in that! That's hilarious.
