I just got home from egg retrieval and am waiting for my wife to make lunch before I decide on whether I want to nap or watch a movie marathon.
Everything went very well! I was anxious about the outcome and also nervous about all of the medical stuff -- I've never had surgery and all the monitors and IV and stuff freaked me out a little. But all of the nurses were awesome, as was my RE, and I felt very well taken care of.
They retrieved 22 eggs! It was more than I expected. I'll know tomorrow how many were mature and how they're fertilizing and when my transfer should be (Sunday or Tuesday). They're a little worried about me developing OHSS, so I am on a high-protein, high-electrolyte diet and resting a lot. Still trying to decide whether or not I should go to work tomorrow. I am slightly crampy but overall feeling fine right now, just tired.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the support and good wishes and I will definitely keep you updated.
My wife just spent $100 at Whole Foods buying protein powder, protein bars, electrolyte powder, coconut water, chicken and turkey, so I am well-stocked. She also bought me flowers, a memory foam mattress topper, and is cleaning the house while I lounge. I could get used to this.
I spent the afternoon napping, reading, and internetting and now I am watching Friends.
