Intro

Hi All!

I am 23.5 weeks pg with twin boys and was placed on bed rest about 5 weeks ago due to a shortened cervix. I initially started bleeding at 18 weeks and went to the ER, the did a scan and babies were fine but they noticed the shortened cervix. Don't know what caused the bleeding, but it soon stopped and the shortened cervix landed me on bed rest. I was placed on progesterone suppositories when the CL got to about 2cm.

I see my MFM tomorrow morning to do another measurement. Last week it was just about 1cm, so if it is still that short this week, they will most likely send me to the hospital and start me on steroid injections.

I never realized how tough bed rest would be, but being so uncomfortable and restricted to the bed really stinks. I now look forward to doctor appointments so I can get out of the house.

I just saw this board and thought I would introduce myself. Hope everyone is hanging in there and having a somewhat happy Halloween.
