  About half the time I do. She does pretty well by herself but if she is being cuddly I will.

  I sit him up in my lap and pat his back. Sometimes he burps, sometimes not til later. I don't worry about it to much.

  I still try because otherwise she wakes up screaming from gas.  Still.  Whoever told me that babies get easier to burp and work their gas out on their own as they get mobile LIED.

  I am but he is very squirmy so I usually only get one or two burps out of him.  But I find if I don't he winds up spitting up later.

  She is very mobile and works out some gas.  However if I forget to burp DD she will spit up or get a big gassy belly.
