I'm scheduled to start my Lupron injections on Nov. 28 if my u/s is good on the 27th. However, I'm concerned since I haven't had much testing done prior to the beginning of this IVF cycle i.e. no AMH. I know that it isn't exactly needed info to go forward, but I personally would like to know mine.
My history might be helpful in answering. I had a lap in september where they found severe endo. The endo was removed and I was put on BCP after b/c they drilled and drained both my ovaries. I then was referred to an RE which told us to move straight to IVF. With that being said I've never been off the BCP since my surgery. What tests did you ladies have done before going forward with IVF and should I be acting more assertive and inquisitive about what is going on with my cycle? THANKS!!!

We tried other treatments before IVF, so as you said, some of this isn't necessary in your case, but:
-complete metabolic panel and a lipid panel (plus all the routine IF STD tests)
- cd 3 labwork (FSH, LH, and E2)
-Sonohysterogram, HSG,
-SA for DH
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

The tests I would recommend are :
cd3 b/w & complete blood panel: you want to make sure everything is at the proper levels.
SA for your H to see if ICSI is needed
saline histogram to make sure there are not any polyps/fibroids that may inhibit an embryo from implanting

I had a full metabolic panel as well as testing to see if I was a carrier of several different genetic disorders. HSG & Hysteroscopy. Then CD3 b/w and ultrasound.
