  Depends - If the info under your avatar is right, I assume it's usually pretty cold on Halloween. Or at least, it is in the evening, when you go out ToT. Meaning that if you do go out ToTing, you'll be layering under the costume. In which case I would err on the side of caution and go with a 3T. Otherwise, unless your kid is huge, I would go with 2T. DD1 is a giant (95% percentile), but she was wearing 2T size clothes for at least a few months after her 2nd birthday. But even then, it's only for one day, right? So personally, if I saw a great costume on sale that was only available in a size 2T, I'd grab it anyways. So what if it's a little short? I doubt anyone will really notice.

  I would say 2T to 3T...keep in mind they are costumes which tend to run small usually.

  I would get a 3T, worst case, it's too big and you have to roll the sleeves up. If you get a 2T and it's too small then you can't use it at all.
