I put a toothbrush in his hot little hand during the toweling off/lotion/dressing portion of bathtime and it was a much quieter and less stressful process..... THANK YOU for this great idea!!!

    Great idea!! My LO loves toothbrushes. She is fascinated when she watches me brush my teeth :)

    Yay!  Glad it helped. :) 

    I started doing it because I kept forgetting to do it earlier in the routine... and then it worked that it distracted and soothed him.  I'm sure when he's 12 he'll wonder why he has an insane desire to brush his teeth at the same time that he's putting lotion on his feet.  :)
