Im just wondering who you ladies might suggest to see while TTC?! The dr I have now isnt that great. They put me on clomid but I want to come off it now because of learning more about it. They never did an ultrasound or really anything to make sure I was ok. Who would you recommend to go see that you thought is amazing? Any suggestions would help.
Thanks

Thank you I go next week and I wanna ask them to do more testing but was thinking of still scheduling with an RE. I might get more out of them!
I used to see Dr. Albert, reproductive endocrinologist at Reproductive Health Specialists in Penn Hills. www.ivfpittsburgh.com
4 Losses (2003, 2008, Apr 2012, & Oct 2012)
All RPL and IF testing with multiple REs = normal
5 IUIs = BFN
All AL are welcome
There are only 3 places in Pittsburgh that conduct TTC practices.
Magee, West Penn, and RHS (privately owned by Drs. Albert, Kubik, and Herd).
RHS has a more than double success rate than anywhere else in the area, but they ranked highest in the nation. I would suggest there. good luck!

I used Dr. Kauma at West Penn and loved him. However, I used him because I was doing IUIs with donor sperm without a partner. He automatically put me on clomid with trigger shot even though my day 3 tests came back really good. I'm not sure what he would do if you go in and don't want to use clomid though. I had no problem taking it and got pregnant on the 2nd try. I'm not sure what your concerns with it are but short term, it is fine to take. They didn't want me on it for more then 4-6 months because it can thin the lining. I did have ultrasounds to monitor follicles and lining though.
