Jeep Wrangler Sport Jogger Reviews

Anyone have this that they can tell me their likes/dislikes?

I am pulling for the BJ City Elite, but the SO likes the Jeep and that the price tag is $170 (when you factor in buying the infant seat attachment).

Re: Jeep Wrangler Sport Jogger Reviews

  • I looked at it in store. It's pretty bulky and heavy for a jogger.  It also feels really cheap.  Have you looked at the Baby Trend jogging stroller?

  • I thought it was pretty heavy too, but it's only 6 lbs heavier than the Elite. I didn't like how its wasn't quite as compact either.

There really aren't any reviews of it online except on mommy blogs which I don't really like to depend on since they were given the stroller and never list any negatives.

There is nothing that I like more on the Jeep than the Elite....it's just this is the one that my SO really wants. I want the Elite...LOL

  • We looked at both the Jeep and the Baby Trend and ended up going with the Baby Trend..the Jeep strollers we tried in store didn't fold as compactly or move as smoothly as the Baby Trend did...we ended up going with the Baby Trend (which says alot b/c my DH is a die-hard Jeep fan) but haven't used it yet as we are still waiting on LO to arrive

We have had this stroller for almost 4 years and it's held up really well.  We started using it when our son was around 3 months old and never had an infant seat attachment for it.  We just reclined the seat all the way and buckled him in.  No probs at all (althought we weren't actually jogging with him at that point, just walking).  We could have put him in is sooner, but since he was born in December it was too cold to even think about going outside for a walk before the end of March.  Honestly, if you go with this, I wouldn't bother with the infant seat attachment.  And I really do still love this stroller. :)

Are you talking about the BJ Elite or the Jeep stroller? Oh trust I am all about the Elite, I'm just trying to find more info on the Jeep since the SO wants this one more bc of the price difference. I'm afraid the Jeep wont hold up as well as the BJ as I have read plenty of reviews on it!
