What is your toddler really into right now/their new accomplishment? The boy is infatuated with straws. Seriously. He has at least one in his hands at all times.
What challenges took place this past week? Still the waking at 430-5 thing. I'm dreading the time change.
Did your toddler do/say anything particularly funny recently? He barked back at the neighbors dog today. Not talking per se...

What is your toddler really into right now/their new accomplishment? She loves to sing songs with me. Her new favorite is "ABC's." She walks around the house saying "ABC... ABC.. ABC!!" It's adorable
What challenges took place this past week? Other toddler moms - this is the part where we can chime in and help one another with ideas/suggestions for working through challenges (behavior issues, etc.) Not much really. She's very strong willed and we are starting to have trouble with transitions. She doesn't really like coming inside lately.
Did your toddler do/say anything particularly funny recently? Her dancing is hilarious. It's not nothing new really, but she started doing a finger pointing thing when she dances, and shaking her little booty. It's adorable.

She kinda says up and down and moves her head up and down when she says them. She also learned how to walk backwards and sit on something and she has gotten really good at going down stairs.

She's just been clingy and whiney this week--I think she is getting some canines and she's been battling a diaper rash.
Did your toddler do/say anything particularly funny recently?
Her dancing is evolving. She's starting to move with the music more but it's kinda jerky. DH and I love to watch her dance

Hmmm....When do you plan on potty training?
What is your toddler really into right now/their new accomplishment?
He's starting to count to three. Unfortunately he's counting back at me when I"m doing a countdown to timeout.

DS woke up with the croup this morning.
Any suggestions for occupying a super active 1-year old in the house all week?

Recently I made good friends with another SAHM in our area. Sawyer LOVES her son. He asks for him several times a day and gets so excited to see him. The other day he started bawling when I told him we weren't going to see his buddy that day. It's so cute!

What is your toddler really into right now/their new accomplishment? Lots of singing lately.
What challenges took place this past week? Other toddler moms - this is the part where we can chime in and help one another with ideas/suggestions for working through challenges (behavior issues, etc.) She had a rough time yesterday with the hurricane and power going out - she got really hyper as a coping mechanism. Poor little thing! She finally went to bed with her flashlight; who knows how long she stayed up! In general she is still struggling with wanting my attention when I'm changing/nursing DS.
Did your toddler do/say anything particularly funny recently? Her version of "Rain, rain, go away" yesterday was "Rainy, rainy, come see us again!" Sung while looking out the window at the rain.

Helping out with everything. It's adorable, even if a bit annoying when I'm trying to finish something. I just have to remember this won't last and it's cute right now. Last night she insisted on helping me clean up the milk she spilled in the kitchen.

Not too much I can think of the last week. Mostly just getting her to listen to us, I guess.

This weekend we were getting her dressed and lately she's been saying "cuuuuuuute!" when I put on her white onesie undershirt, lol. DH was getting her dressed and we were goofing around about something and I said, "DD, tell daddy he's handsome!" and DH said, "DD, tell mommy she's pretty!" and DD immediately said, "I'm cuuuuuuuute!"

This is a tough one, because if you consistently give her a snack before bed, she'll get used to that too. Could you try moving back dinner time?

I'm a little late, but...
B is potty training at the moment and she's really into sitting on it for a long time with a book. It's super cute.
No real challenges this week that are new. The car continues to be a struggle, but we've started telling her that if she can't behave in the car for our short rides around we will not go visit Paw Paw for Christmas, so she will usually stop screaming if we mention it...
She's finally big into repeating whatever we say, which is cute and means we now have to REALLY watch what we say.
How about a question about fun indoor activities for the upcoming cold days?
