DD has had bad problems with constipation so we have been taking the solids very slow. I am just wondering how many times a day every one is feeding LO solids?

I would say 1-4 times, depends on schedule and stuff. At daycare she eats once (one day she ate twice. I just told them to give her as much as they feel like). At home she has dinner with us usually (unless we are out)
At the weekend she might have food 3-4 times or only once if we are out and about.
She doesn't eat much yet so I'm guessing 95% of her calories are still coming from milk so I don't worry too much about it if she doesn't get a chance to have food much in a day.

My DD loves the solids......she usually eats a heeping amount of apple rice cereal in the morning, 1-2 jars (the small ones) of baby food both at lunch and dinner. We are trying to just do veggies, she loves squash, sweet potatoes and carrots. We are slowly doing the fruits......so far she really likes everything.
DD #1 we spoiled with just fruits cause they sounded better to us....so she is a fruit eater, not a veggie eater.

Once, maybe twice. He always gets dinner with us, sometimes we have time for morning snack or lunch with DD. I find solids tricky when they're still napping so much!
we're taking them very slow because we've had a lot of allergies already. This week sweet potatoes were a success so he's had them once a day (twice today). But he's not crazy about the taste of sweet potatoes and barely eats any (the same stage 2 jar will last the 3 days). Hopefully we will continue to not have allergies and he can try more food
I also find it challenging to incorporate solids around naps. He gets a snack at lunch and dinner with us if he isn't too fussy. On weekends, he might get breakfast, but weekdays, he's outta the house by 7, so no time for a meal.
6:30am fruit and rice cereal followed by 6 oz bottle
11:30am fruit and veggie (we are up to 1/2 of jar we use beechnut stage 2) with 4 oz bottle
2pm bottle with 2 oz apple juice 2 oz water
4:30pm fruit and veggie with 4 oz bottle
8:30pm, 8 oz bottle with rice cereal in the bottle.
**We started feeding solids at 4 months, and she is almost 8 months so we took it all really slow. I only bumped up to solids 3 times a day because she was waking up screaming at 2am and I had to feed then. I honestly had to just play with the schedule and see what worked best for her. Good Luck
Kate gets solids 2x a day a fruit at breakfast, and a vegetable at dinner.
Same here and each mixed with oatmeal. About once a week I give her prunes for pooping problems. Each food amount is about two ice cubes of frozen pur?e
My pedi recommended 2-4 tbs of veggie once a day, 2-4 Tbs cereal twice a day and 2-4 tbs of fruit once a day. Strained meat and chicken introduced at 7-9 months.
I'm making his food. He eats once a day at dinner time. So far he has had peas, butternut squash, avocado, banana, sweet potatoe, and apples. He eats about 2 oz, sometimes more sometimes less. I'm not sure when I'll add another meal. Maybe after I've introduced more foods...
2x a day. Usually around lunch is foods they have had before, usually carrots, squash or sweet pot mixed and then the new food is at the 3rd btl. They are getting 1.5-2oz each time.

I feed see C solids 3 times a day (well when she is home with us). At daycare she only gets solids at lunch time and then I give her solids at dinner time.

We just started 3x/day this week. Oatmeal shortly after their morning bottle, fruits at lunch and I give them a veggie at dinner.
If LO is constipated focus on foods that will help. I believe fruits that start with a P can help soften stool.
